Great Big War Game tak jak poprzedniczka, jest strategią turową w której gracz dowodzi jednostkami piechoty, pancernymi, wodnymi czy powietrznymi. Celem oczywiście jest wykończenie wroga, którym może być zarówno AI (w trybie singleplayer) lub inny gracz (multiplayer). Dwójka przynosi ze sobą masę nowego contentu: mapy, jednostki i cross- platformowe bitwy między Androidem i iOS.

Zmiany w tej wersji:

* Hardware `Back` button will
pop up the Pause Panel during
game play.
* Fixed an audio issue, where
music would start playing at
inappropriate times on
Gingerbread devices.

* Hardware `Back` button now works on all menus.
* Fixed an issue with the water
graphics on some devices
(DroidX, Archos43, etc).
* Added damage information
units do against buildings.
* Added Android Backup Service.
