Greetings,

Is there a way to change the font with phones which doesn't come with original .ttf fonts?
With my nokia 2690 ppmodd shows only FONT tree which has (unnamed).
Export to binary creates chunk.bin.. but how can i import font? :hypno:

Here is a pic of ppmodd:

If phone use the TTF fonts, there is a VFNT, not FONT chunk! 128x160 phones use very old format of font:

PPModd already have supported 3110c & 5200XM (128x160 too). There it shows few subchunks which be able to export, edit in this program and import back.

So if you have only one - (unnamed) - subchunk, it means that PPModd doesn't support your phone. You have to ask actually PPModd main programmer, ndt, about add Nokia 2690 support to program.

ok..
i was wondering why the ppmodd always crashed when loading my ppm, but it got fixed after changing the option
font_as_unknown to enabled
so my phone just sucks.. seems like every other phone has those ttf fonts easily changeable
but thanks for explaining this

If there will be some option to change it in future please inform me..

at least i can change the icons, did you know you can view all the .nif files inside the phone, nif viewer didn't work for my phone either but uploading them to phone worked! :D

Unfortunatelly I can't help you more. I heard first time about 2690. :P
Nif Viewer usually open majority of NIFs. Maybe this strange phone has another format of these graphics too? xD
